A guide to all you need to know about diy natural deodorant, we also tackle the question of why natural deodorant is the only healthy choice you need to make when it comes to personal hygiene. All this plus and in-depth look at two popular natural deodorants, Sam’s natural deodorant and Jason natural deodorant.
Why Change To Natural Deodorant?
You may be asking the very valid question of why natural deodorant? Well, there are many good reasons to start using a natural deodorant. First on your mind should be the question of what is best for your body. Based on the fact that you cannot improve upon nature, one can assume that what’s good for your body should conform to what nature has already determined. Therefore, a deodorant that stops your body sweating is in fact impeding a natural, normal bodily function.
This is when the alarm bells should be ringing and the desire you find out why natural deodorant is so good for you kicks in. Artificial chemicals in all cosmetics have detrimental effects on your natural bodily functions. This is in stark contrast to natural deodorant that uses what nature has freely given us to help with our daily sanitary needs. For example, aluminum salts are just as effective at stopping body odor from overwhelming any poor soul within nasal range of you.
Natural deodorant is formulated to keep you smelling fresh for hours using bacteria stopping ingredients, such as baking soda. The difference with natural deodorant is that it will not stop you sweating but will stop the bacteria that feeds on the sweat from proliferating, that’s why natural deodorant is where you need to be heading.
Health Alerts Caused By Conventional Deodorants
Most conventional deodorants are made using ingredients that have shown to cause health issues. A study from the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, showed the use of aluminum based antiperspirants can actually increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s. Another study from the University of Reading, found a correlation between the increase in breast cancers with the increase in the use of chemical cosmetics; that includes deodorant. Have any more doubts why natural is not an option?
One Stop Does Not Fit All
Using a natural deodorant will not prevent sweating, and what works for one person might not necessarily work for another. Therefore, it is always a good idea to experiment with several brands until you find the right natural deodorant for your particular body type. Different brands use different natural ingredients, some may work better for you than others.
Trending Activated Charcoal
The go to natural ingredient for so many of today’s green cosmetics is activated charcoal. There is a good reason for this, activated charcoal can absorb over a thousand times its own weight in moisture, as well as hundreds of other amazing, including aiding your digestive system.
Together with using activated charcoal a lot of moisturizers and deodorants are including such ingredients as mineral-rich clay, olive oil, and shea butter that will help with sensitive skin and rashes. Furthermore, some ingredients used in natural deodorants can also smooth razor burns and shrink pores which helps with swelling and inflammation.
It’s Good To Sweat
Despite what most people think, there are such things as good bacteria. Natural deodorant allows these to proliferate while at the same time killing off the ones that smell up the place. Sweat does not cause body odor, however when combined with the bacteria on your skin, it can release a rather nasty smell. Natural deodorant will help to keep the bacteria under control, therefore reducing or even eliminating the odor.
